Flysea Oil-Base Paint Markers - Medium Tip - Set of 20
Vibrant oil-base colour, perfect for a wide range of exterior projects. These are an opaque permenant colour (so be careful where you put it, it will not come off), however their opaqueness is slightly less than an acrylic marker.
The advantage to an Oil-Base marker is these do not require a clearcoat when drawing on rocks. Which means less time and cost as no top clear coat is required. Drawing may still obtain physical damage from rocks rubbing together.
The disadvantage to an Oil-Base markers is they tend to smell, but these flysea ones are very mild and are similar to that of a vivid or highlighter smell, I think they smell like a hand sanitiser - so not yucky and fumy at all, but do still have some smell so use common sense around children and allergy sufferers as smells may be triggering to some.
They dry to a matt finish on rocks and remember if you base coat your rocks with paint . . . oil base and acrylic do not mix well, you will get sticky rocks
So get those naked rocks out and best to just draw without background colour
Flysea Oil-Base Markers have a metal body and not plastic like the acrylic versions as they need a larger ball inside to thoroughly mix the medium.
